The Menopause Society is a nonprofit organization with the mission of empowering healthcare professionals and providing them with the tools and resources they need to improve the health of women during the menopause transition and beyond. Since the Society was founded in1989, it has served as the definitive, independent, and evidence-based resource for healthcare professionals and the public, providing accurate information about menopause and midlife women’s health.
The philosophy and recommendations of Boulder Menopause Specialists is aligned with those of the Menopause Society.

Founded in 1951, the ACOG is the premier professional membership organization for obstetrician-gynecologists. The College produces practice guidelines for health care professionals and educational materials for patients, facilitates programs and initiatives to improve women's health, and advocates for members and patients.
