Our management model allows time to listen to your individual experiences and needs and then develop a comprehensive plan to begin to address them.
Our comprehensive menopause assessment and plan includes all of the following:
1
Assessment - 50 minutes
I want to hear all about what's going on with you! This is a listening visit and it's your time to tell me absolutely everything. During this visit, we'll also review your medical history and complete an extensive evaluation of lab tests and imaging tests.
The time between visit 1 and 2 allows us to obtain medical information and do any labs or imaging needed to better inform our plan.
2
Management Plan - 50 minutes
This visit is all about reviewing your options and developing a comprehensive plan of action that you're comfortable with. This may include prescription of hormonal or non-hormonal options for perimenopausal or menopausal symptoms, but we also may include recommendations and referrals for help with non-medication aspects of whole-body health, such as exercise specialists, nutritionists, pelvic floor physical therapy, help with sexual dysfunction, sleep problems, and more.
3
Follow Up - 25 minutes
Three months after the Management Plan visit, we'll get together again to review how you're doing and to determine what, if any, adjustments need to be made.

Also Included from the Assessment through the Follow Up Visit...
I'm not going to leave you alone at any point during the Plan! At any point in the journey, you will have unlimited access to me (via text or phone) for help with issues with your pharmacy, side effects or reactions to the medications, help with referrals, etc.
After that, you may decide to continue follow up with your primary care physician or gynecologist for refills, etc. which may be cheaper because it can be billed through your insurance.
I’m happy to see you, though, for additional follow up visits for adjusting the plan or annually to re-evaluate whether to continue or wean hormone therapy.
